Users have access to cycling routes, segments, guides, maps, or trips published on Gravelmap. Should you choose to use these resources to access an outdoor experience, you are doing so at your own risk. Prior to setting out check current local weather, conditions, and land/road closures. While riding, obey all public and private land use restrictions and rules, carry proper safety and navigational equipment, and of course, follow the #leavenotrace guidelines. The information found herein is simply a planning resource to be used as a point of inspiration in conjunction with your own due diligence. The Website is controlled and offered by Gravelmap from its facilities in the United States of America. Gravelmap makes no representations that the Gravelmap Website is appropriate or available for use in other locations. Those who access or use the Gravelmap Website from other jurisdictions do so at their own volition and are responsible for compliance with local law.

You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Gravelmap, its parent corporation, officers, directors, employees and agents, from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs or debt, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney’s fees) arising from: (i) your use of and access to the Gravelmap Website; (ii) your violation of any term of these Terms of Service; (iii) your violation of any third party right, including without limitation any copyright, property, or privacy right; or (iv) any claim that one of your User Submissions caused damage to a third party. This defense and indemnification obligation will survive these Terms of Service and your use of the Gravelmap Website.
Gravelmap does not collect information from not logged in visitors interacting with the site. A cookie and IP address may be tracked to allow technology to better the visitor experience during a session. Session data is cleared when a browser is closed.
Gravelmap offers the ability to register as a member of the website allowing a richer community experience. Members use their email address and other personal information in the process. Your email address is NEVER shown to visitors or other members of the community. Age, gender, and IP information may be used as an identifier during third-party advertising. Gravelmap never shares your email address with any third party unless specified.
We use analytics partners (such as Google Analytics) to help analyze usage and traffic for our Services. As an example, we may use analytics partners to analyze and measure, in the aggregate, the number of unique visitors to our Services.
While we track the number of Facebook likes and shares, we do not collect any other personal information from the Facebook platform.
As a member of Gravelmap you may upload your videos and photos. Your uploaded material is viewable by all visitors and members. You may, at any time, delete or remove your uploaded material. You may, only upload material that is your own, or you have the copyright to.
Gravelmap may send out an opt-out newsletters to members. Members can opt out from newsletter communication.
You can delete your account and all information. On your profile page, select edit profile, and then choose the Delete Profile option.
Gravelmap allows other companies, called third-party ad servers or ad networks, to serve advertisements within the Gravelmap Site. These third-party ad servers or ad networks use technology to send, directly to your browser, the advertisements and links that appear on the Gravelmap Site. They automatically receive your IP address when this happens. They may also use other technologies (such as cookies, JavaScript, or Web Beacons) to measure the effectiveness of their advertisements and to personalize the advertising content you see.
Gravelmap does not provide any personally identifiable information to these third-party ad servers or ad networks without your consent or except as part of a specific program or feature for which you will have the ability to opt-in or opt-out.
