MTB recommended, but even so there is definitely some hike-a-bike on the steep and rocky top mile or so. This includes a stream crossing and short, but difficult rock steps section that you will have to haul your bike up.
This is definitely not passable via gravel bike. Mountain bike might workout if you're skilled, but it is really what feels like a steep, rocky hiking trail.
This looks insanely steep, is it passable (south to north) on a gravel bike, or a mtb recommended?
