This land is owned by the San Francisco Public Utilities. They get VERY hostile if you freelance in there. However, they do run docent-led rides from time to time. If you want to sign up, check the events here: https://www.sfpuc.gov/learning/come-visit/fifield-cahill-ridge-trail Right now there are no bike events on the board but they tell me there will be some added in the new year. (It's dependent on volunteer docents). It's a beautiful ride. Not particularly challenging but not a flat levee trail either. Yes, this is ludicrous. The argument is that they have to preserve the pristine water supply. Uhhhh, all of California drinks from water downstream of trails. But so it is.

Tried to ride this and got stopped by 4 trucks full of rangers. Which seems ridiculous to me but ride at your own risk. Sucks because it connects a lot of dirt trails.

Fun little ride! Fantastic views. Note that you will be riding with a docent and other people, so you are limited on speed to the slower bikers.
