Old railway trail. Lots of big chunky gravel and urban abandonment. Flat and straight shot to downtown with no traffic

It was fun to do - once! Can get pretty hard to ride on and also difficult to cross over busy roads without stoplights.

Good for an adventure ride. But much of it is certainly less than comfortable with "big chunky gravel" as the OP stated. Other parts, however, are more hard-pack dirt and are kind of fun to breeze through some parts of the city where there would otherwise be a lot of roads if not for the old railway tracks.
