Gorgeous ride! We rode it in the opposite direction and it was beautiful views and mostly gentle hills (but WINDY in the afternoon—maybe that's why people ride it the other way). There's some parking on Rt 40, just before the turn to 44, or next to the horse farm. There was some washboard just after the turnaround point on the downhill, but most of the road was in good shape.
