Great course. Heavy rains in the AM, everything was mostly dry by the evening when we rode. There’s a 3 mile section on a paved, narrow road into Montague - there were zero cars on this section but I could see how it would feel uncomfortable if there were cars. I also had car radar which helped feel better about it. Really a great ride.

I tried out this route today and it was great. Thanks for posting! I transferred it to Ride with GPS with the name "Sunset to Montague." Enjoy!

Great ride. I added in the "Long Branch Cemetery" loop on my ride (72ish miles). Packed everything needed in Sunset - parked at the Sunset Gas Station after asking permission. I believe there is a gas station in Montague which you can stop at if needing to refuel/refresh - I probably would have planned on this if we were in the warmer TX months. Those are the only two spots available to stop and refuel - pack accordingly. Both loops provide brief respites of pavement - but not much. Dog Kennel Rd is appropriately named - a few small chasers but no Cujo's : ).
