This is a tough mountain bike trail, not a gravel bike trail from my novice skill level point of view.

Went back wearing my 40mm. - Once committed there's no turning back. - Single track....crap! Should've heeded what the sign said about mountain bikes. Gravel bikes will suffer though this. - This is some big gravel....stones....large rocks...side wall killers if you're not careful. Glad I put on my 40mm tires. - All I wanted to ride was the fire road. When I finally got there, it was a steady climb out of there most of the way back to Hamburg. - Hike a bike in some spots especially the rock gardens. Clipless pedals need not apply. - Almost lost it there....and there....and there. I think I left a bit of my soul back in those woods. - Mentally drained by the time I made it out. - Wasn't sure if I was going to make it back to the shire. - Hats off to my trusty stead that held up like a champ

Was about to take this trail but my 32mm Roubaix tires looked like they would been chewed up by the size of this gravel.

I will hope to check this out soon.
