The road now has a no thru traffic, but is passable. The road still appears to be maintained on both sides by the county as the road conditions have improved. They have dug a 3 foot wide trench that is easily crossable to allow the adjacent swamp to drain.

12-5-2019 There has been a "Road Closed" sign as you come to the intersection at Canyon Rd coming from Whitesburg. It is still passable, but can be quite muddy when you get to where the road is washed out.
