A dirt road that goes from Hwy50 up to Silverjack Reservoir and Owl Creek Pass. Steady climbing on a well maintained dirt road with some washboarding. It can be busy with camper traffic on summer weekends as Silverjack is a popular camping destination. If you go over Owl Creek Pass you will descend County Road 8 to Hwy 550 in Ridgway. Driveable in a passenger car and suitable for gravel bikes.

Great route, completed on 5/11/26. Watch for fresh dust control mag/chloride and don't ride if it's wet.
