A mixture of surfaces: there's some roads (mixed pavement and dirt) behind the old East Boston Camps, which then turns into singletrack for a bit followed by a mixture of wide easy trails and singletrack. Makes for a nice loop or a connection to the gravel road up behind Stony Brook.
