If you want to shave a bit off, about a mile down White Hill Road on the left is a pull off for the Emmon Pond Nature Conservancy area. There's actually a neat trail there around the pond. Anyway, you can park there and the loop from there is about 12 miles. The turn onto Monkey Run is not marked, so pay attention during the long downhill on Proesser Hollow. The turn onto Houghtaling Hollow Road is also not marked but it's a T, so...
