The remnants of a previous paving effort still remain on the east portion of the road between the Cadron Creek Bridge and Highway 285 but it and the western side of Cadron Creek should be regarded as "well-maintained" gravel. You can make the loop around what remains of Mallet Town by taking the Town Loop on the north side of Mallet Town Road.
