The western end of this is an approximate. Somewhere in that general area it switches over to pavement.
This gravel road gets a TON of use in the summer by people shuttling the river. Lots of drunk sketchy drivers and stutter bumps. It is far better to hop onto the Forest Service two tracks that parallel this section of road.
