South Side, initial climb of the pass is quite rough, needs graded and gravel. One portion in the middle is rough. The rest is great. I wouldn’t recommend it in a car right now, pickup, motorcycle or Mtb ok.

Minimal wash boarding right now, only a few rough sections. The first big climb portion is chunky and not super fun to descend, so wear your gloves and double wrap your bars. There is some ATV and motorbike traffic but after a light rain, the dust is tamped down pretty well.
