Gravel Route
On Parson Rd, Saint Thomas, Elgin County, Ontario
Big tires recommended - old railbed is pretty rocky, and Blind line can get very mucky if the quads have been at it after a big rain.
6 overlapping segments.

There is a section of this route that uses the old CASO rail right of way. It is manageable on wider tires (and I imagine it's much easier on a fat bike). Where it crosses John Wise Rd. there are "No Trespassing" signs with the Entegrus company name on. The stretch between Oneida Rd and Mill is very coarse--it's rail ballast, not gravel. Some stretches are easier than others, and the first few hundred metres heading east from Oneida are "wavy" as if the rocks have been deliberately piled ever few metres to prevent usage. The section from Mill to John Wise has recently been bulldozed and is as wide as a two-lane road, it is still mostly rail ballast, but it's much easier to navigate.
