Mixed; a tiny bit paved, a lot of gravel, a lot of dirt, some doubletrack. Mainly flattish (the part that's an ex-railroad grade) but with steep ramps up to the Nehalem Divide.
The divide is amazing on a rainy day. Lots of mud and steep gradients.
