Nice bit of gnarmac/classic bridleway. There is a locked gate a Mucklin Lodge but a quick detour through the housing estate on a paved path brings you back on the bridleway to woodthorpe. I've been told the gate shouldn't be locked as it is public right of way but I'm yet to bring bolt cutters on a ride with me...
