Great gravel ride, glad I saw it here and downloaded the route. Parked across the street from the city cemetery, locals warned us about parking in the cemetery lot[large warning signs are real]. Clockwise is the wise choice on this loop, the Steel Canyon climb is moondust and the Black Canyon descent is harder packed. Saw the potable water pump in Black Canyon, but descending at 30+mph. near the top of the Steel Canyon climb is a gate, next section is open to livestock, both cattle and sheep, until you are down off of the Black Canyon descent.
