This gravel road leads into the Nathaniel Mountain Wildlife Management Area where it intersects with another gravel road the leads north along the ridge and descends back to Grassy Lick Road. You can also descend a second gravel road from this point to Trough Road near Moorefield. This is one of the best gravel climbs in Hardy County.
