Not for the non-adventurous. You can skip the first bit of doubletrack off of Lake Road by going around to Swallow Road but definitely do the second part off of Swallow Road.
Stay on lake road all the way to the 4. The trail that is south of Lake Road is really bad now. Just take to the 4 to Swallow Road to rejoin the route.
