The last year's storms have altered some things. On of the first fire roads you follow is washed away and can't really follow it. But you can just go straight on Esperanza and connect back where it was to have met up. Nice route on the north side of the highway. On the south, there is literally a road which is not there, it was rerouted for logging trucks. We didn't not see a sign and got the stink eye from the loggers. Saw the sign after we descended. Very active logging area, you are not supposed to ride there.
