Mixed gravel, dirt and rock of varying thickness and difficulty. Several crossings of Crane Creek in the lower parts -- all are rideable in summer. Occasional steep portions, and the road gets very rutted and rocky on occasion. Not really for the faint of heart. Recommend not going up this route on anything but a mountain bike. The end indicates a junction with several options -- continue on 3923 to 3913 and complete a loop, or head to the northeast to go up an unmarked road to near Rogger Peak.
