"Undulating, fast-rolling hard gravel base with small-grain loose gravel on top. Generally well maintained. Bikes with low-tread tyres and high gearing might struggle on the final optional climb up to Red Knoll Lookout. Can stop short of this at Scotts Peak Dam, views are still great here."
