"There is one steep rocky section on Jack Mt road which I have to push up. If a shorter ride is desired there is parking at a campground about 4 miles up basin creek rd. Options also include going from Basin to Rimini (shuttle required) or around and down Cataract creek road."

"This route allows a loop to be made from Basin Creek Rd to Cataract creek rd. Parts of the route are steep and loose and occasionally rocky but mostly rideable, though I do hike-a-bike some short sections on the ascent and descent which are quite loose. A few expansive vistas exist on the route."
