"Hard packed dirt/gravel road. Gradual increase from just past Meadow Creek until you get to the lake, then the winding climb begins. There is a general store in Trout Lake with snacks and cold drinks. No cellular service along this route, but there is a pay phone at the store. Plenty of sources of water along this route. Just pack your purifier. "
