"Longish, exposed (e.g. no shade), 60-mile gravel road into the North Rim of the Grand Canyon (Grand Canyon National Park) at Toroweap Overlook above Lava Falls (largest rapid in the Grand Canyon). Primitive camping at Toroweap but only 11 camp sites and National Park permit required to camp. Day-users do not require a permit. Check with the Park Service to confirm prior to departure."
