1 mi   dirt

Manchester State Forest 1

Dirt route from SC-261 to Hwy 261 S, Sumter County, South Carolina

"Mostly smooth, packed dirt with a little bit of gravel, sand and mud. It's a fairly flat area that includes some forest and meadows. There are lots of smaller roads and trails that connect on the grounds so feel free to explore."

Courthouse Creek Rd

Gravel route on National Forest Rd, Balsam Grove, Transylvania County, North Carolina

"Scenic dirt road that follows a creek through the bottom of a narrow valley and climbs a sizable hill to avoid a waterfall and hairpin in the creek. Leads to the trailhead for a few waterfalls and creek side campsites."

Whitehouse Rd

Gravel route on Whitehouse Rd, Columbia, Richland County, South Carolina

"About half gravel, half packed dirt, as well as some mud after rain. It's a decent 5 minute drive that goes through some swamps and open fields. This road is okay for bikers but sometimes there is vehicle traffic. Bikers can access this by riding straight from Columbia or there is room to park a car at either end of the road. Road is least busy on a Sunday (from what I've experienced)."
