Gravel Segment
From River Rd, Syracuse to River Rd, Coolidge, Hamilton County, Kansas
Nice route for a spin where the sandhills meet the Arkansas River. Mostly range and river pasture, cattle, horses, not unusual to see deer and turkey. Sam's Pond/Syracuse Sand Dune Park is city owned so parking is easy. Other end is a state wildlife area named Cottonwood Flats, generally a mowed area there as well.
