Gravel Segment
On Balsam Mountain Rd, Cherokee, Swain County, North Carolina
This is a little known trek outside of the local folks. It starts just off of the Blue Ridge Parkway and travels "One Way", 17 miles down to Cherokee. Nothing to rough, and some nice photo ops by the river near the end. The majority of this road is in heavy woods, and has very few views. However, the route is awesome.

Drove this. Near "hero" gravel. Passable in a typical sedan if driven with modest care. Would LOVE LOVE LOVE to ride this.
