Markham Park is the typical starting point. You can make a full route by riding the shoulder of US27 (pretty safe) and going clockwise from Markham park. You get back on to the levee by going through the airboat park/fish camp. You can park at Markham, too.
Great ride although the section heading towards 27 is quite rocky. We stopped and let some air out of our tires. Also, after the airboat park, we rode the levee back to Markham. You just have to lift your bikes over the railing to get onto it. we logged this ride as a little over 28 miles though, not the 24 on the map.
The section along US27 is now open for gravel riding. No need to ride on the shoulder of US27 anymore.
