Also called Tantalas Flats https://www.mtbproject.com/trail/7016816/tantalus-flats. We would have loved to have ridden this with a shuttle so we could go the full length starting from Hwy 12 outside Boulder and being picked up in Capitol Reef. Since we were just a group of 2 with 1 car, we couldn't do this ourselves and neither of the two companies we called would run a shuttle for this. I'd love to have a suggestion for a local Boulder or Escalante company that would manage a shuttle, so if someone knows of one, please add here! It was a nice ride, but a bit tough to ride back up the steep sections closed to the start. We did do a detour to see Bown's Resevoir and were able to exit the Resevoir on the East side, rejoin a road that is on the main route for this. I'd say worth the small detour!
