Start in Canal Flats (or whereever on the route) and follow the loop counterclockwise. First 80km are gravel. Make sure to catch the left on Settler's Road at around 30km. After 80km, you will be on pavement to Radium, and on the highway until just after Invermere. There are a few backroads you can try to avoid highway miles. Then catch the Windermere loop road to Fairmont which is a quiet country road. After Fairmont, you will join the Spirit Trail with some nice singletrack options, moving onto doubletrack and quad trails as you head down the west side of Columbia Lake, finishing where you started in Canal Flats with a smile on your face, and tiredness in your legs :)
