The west ~2 miles is a gated logging road. A sign is posted at the Pumpkin Ridge Rd gate stating that non-motorized use is permitted weekdays 4PM to sundown, and during daylight hours over the weekend. No sign of regular use by the logging company. This section is fun to ride, with lots of medium to large size rocks in some sections.
