Fantastic ride on gravel bikes mid Feb leaving around 0930. Minimal traffic. Honaki Heritage site is fascinating. We traveled counterclockwise which I would recommend. The OHV trail from the heritage site is about 6 miles and absolutely spectacular, it stays on a plateau with views in all directions. Only had to hike a few sections. Very cruisy downhill to finish. The topo shows the clockwise direction, we did it the other way.
